Most roofing contractors can point to years in business. Fewer can point to the specific credentials we hold. We’re a GAF Master Elite residential roofing contractor, a designation held by fewer than 2% of roofers nationwide and one that provides access to GAF’s strongest warranty offerings. We’re also a Carlisle Authorized Applicator and a Carlisle Perfection Award winner, recognizing the quality of our commercial roofing installations.
Beyond manufacturer credentials, we carry BBB accreditation with an A+ rating and active membership in the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), which connects us to current industry standards and training. We’re fully insured and offer flexible financing plans for clients who need them.
Our approach to every project is detail-oriented. We pay attention to the process on every repair and replacement, not just the finished product. That commitment to quality, paired with premier customer service, is what has kept clients coming back for decades.

“The crew came early on weekday morning, and installed the gutters and guards for us within a few hours.”Amber B.
They were very professional, and did a fantastic job
"- Amber B.We got our roof replaced several years ago but never had the gutters replaced so we decided to get new gutters and gutter guards through Don Kennedy. The crew came early on weekday morning, and installed the gutters and guards for us within a few hours. They were very professional, and did a fantastic job - there is reason that Don Kennedy is known for being the best in Middle Tennessee.
They installed Alu Rex (Double Pro) Gutter Guards for us, and we are so excited that we no longer have to clean our gutters every season anymore! Don Kennedy continues to be the most reputable roofing business around, and we are so thrilled with the results! Thanks DK!

“He did an excellent job showing and explaining the problems that caused the leak after a thorough inspection.”Ron S.
They took the time to explain what they were going to do
"- Ron S.My experience with Don Kennedy Roofing began when Ethan Burke did an inspection of our roof after we had a water leak in our ceiling after a hard rain. He did an excellent job showing and explaining the problems that caused the leak after a thorough inspection. He took all the time I needed to understand what the problem was and what would be needed to fix that problem. He then pointed out some other issues that could be a future problem. He also made sure we had a good idea of what needed to be done now and what could be done in a second step later.
After we agreed, the technicians who came out to fix the problem were polite and considerate. They took the time to explain what they were going to do and got their work done in a timely manner. When the repair was done they let me know and they had cleaned up all debris in the areas where they worked. I would highly recommend Don Kennedy Roofing for roof repairs or a new roof if needed.

“I have spoken positively about our experience to a couple other friends and neighbors needing a great roofing company.”James P.
We had a top notch crew who swarmed our roof
"We had some hail damage from a storm in May 2025 and received some money from our insurance company. We worked with Shane Taylor for a more comprehensive roof and gutter/guard replacement rather than just what the insurance check would provide. We had at least 15 contractors knock on our door with an important distinction in that Don Kennedy was not a storm chaser. I contacted them. We had a top notch crew who swarmed our roof and our project manager Joe was a great communicator and took ownership with a couple bumps we experienced. To be expected in a major project like this and they rose to the occasion. Excellent work and result. I have spoken positively about our experience to a couple other friends and neighbors needing a great roofing company. Thanks."- James P.
